Day 7: Wisconsin to Minnesota

We stayed at a cute hotel.  It was dark when we got there the night before so we didn't have time to look around.

 We also saw more beautiful scenery on our drive through Wisconsin.

We changed our plans several times.  Since we were close to David's cousin in Minnesota, we decided to go their direction so we could visit them.

They live about an hour from The Mall of America.  So we decided to check it out.  OH MY GOODNESS!!!  I have never seen such a huge place, and we only went to the very bottom floor and the food court.

 They have a huge lego store.

I thought this place just had a roller coaster in the bottom.  Oh no, it's a mini-amusement park.

We had time for them to ride 1 ride.  They chose different ones.

They also met a  Ninja Turtles

Then it was lunch time. 
We have grown to love the food at this place, and usually go whenever we are close to one.

 The food is great, but this is another reason they love this place!!

The kids saw that there was a crayola store, so we had just a little bit longer before we needed to leave so we went there really quick.  Well,  I thought it was going to be quick.

They were looking at the coloring books, and packages of colors, markers, etc... and then they see it!!

 You can make your own box of crayons, and only get the colors you want, or you can get several of a favorite color!!

 They took there time, and chose the colors they really wanted.

 Placing each one very carefully into the box.  Once they had chosen the ones they wanted, the box was only half full.  I told them to get more becasue they were going to fill it up. 
They topped it off with some markers.

After we left the mall, we drove to David's cousins where we had dinner, and the kids played.   They invited us to stay the night with them.  We had a great time visiting!!
